Annual Performance Measures

The Noxious Weed Control Program exist within the Plant Division of the Department of Agriculture. The program operates to fulfill part of the Department’s mission to protect Oregon’s agricultural industry and natural resources by preventing and limiting the spread and impact of invasive exotic plant species (noxious weeds) which displace and compete with native and desirable domestic plant species. These invasive plants affect all Oregonians directly or indirectly through impacts on agricultural and forest economies and on other resources such as fish, wildlife, recreation and overall watershed health.
