Laws and Incentives

The Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center tracks federal- and state-enacted incentives and laws relating to alternative fuel use and reducing petroleum consumption. It also keeps a database of expired laws and incentive enactments for historical purposes. Expired legislation allows users to track engaged policymakers and trends in favored technologies and policy tools over time and to record engaged policymakers.

The following tables feature Excel files that can be downloaded, saved, and manipulated for individual research.
