The Domestic Policy Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine the actions that the Center for Medicaid and State Operations (“CMS”) has taken to reform the pediatric dental program for Medicaid eligible children since the death of Deamonte Driver, a twelve-year old boy from Maryland. Deamonte died as a result of brain infection caused by untreated tooth decay in February 2007.
