RealPlayer Client
Downloading & Configuration
Since all archivedWBNL streaming media is in REAL video format, they must be viewed with the
RealPlayer client. Once the player is launched, the video stream buffers to
enable the video to flow smoothly to your computer. Depending on the
configuration of your client, this "buffering" process may take a few
minutes to complete before the video will play correctly. Please make sure
your running RealPlayer version 8 or later to properly view
streaming media.
Many
complain that the RealPlayer client tries to take over their computer. You
can prevent this by making a few setting changes while downloading the
client or it can be done at a later time. Click here
to view information that will show you how to prevent the RealPlayer client
from becoming the default player for all audio/video media files as well as
locking down your internet privacy while using this player.
If you cannot view external video content on the web, please check to see if
the proxy settings are correct. Refer to the
RealPlayer Proxy Setup instructions to
properly configure your RealPlayer client.
