Cancer Collaborative E-Learning

Client: National Cancer Institute, Office of Education and Special Initiatives (NCI OESI)

The mission of the National Cancer Institute, Office of Education and Special Initiatives (NCI OESI) is to develop, implement, and evaluate cancer education programs for health professionals, cancer victims, and their families.

ORISE will work with OESI to develop the Cancer Collaborative E-Learning project, an interactive learning experience that teaches the Chronic Care Model, Improvement Model, and the Learning Model.

The project also provides tools that reinforce and contribute to the learning and includes the development of an e-learning management system that tracks the learners’ completion and provides a certificate of completion.

The training will be available through the Health Disparities Web site.
