The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), ODOT Procurement Office (OPO) is implementing a Small Contracting Program for Construction for construction contractors desiring to do business with the State ofOregon. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is intended to pre-qualify and register construction contractors prior to the actual need for construction contracting opportunities under this program.
BACKGROUND
As part of ODOT’s commitment to complete required projects, this (RFQ) pre-qualification and registration will be used to expand outreach and outsourcing efforts by providing contracting opportunities to small business entities including, but not limited to, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Emerging Small Businesses (ESB), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises (WBE). The Small Contracting Program for Construction will assist in building effective working relationships, and allow contractors to benefit from the knowledge and experience of working as prime contractors on ODOT construction projects.
Please note that ODOT Procurement Office-Construction will never ask for any financial information such as personal bank account information. If you are asked to complete any financial information release forms for the U.S. Department of Transportation, do not fill this out and fax. These letters are fraudulent letters.
