The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) strives to ensure that work is conducted safely at each of its sites. Through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), DOE collects and analyzes information on illness and injuries to:

Health and Injury Surveillance of Active DOE Worker Populations
ORISE supports DOE's efforts to examine and analyze the occupational health records of more than 80,000 workers at 14 participating DOE sites and facilities.

Site-Specific Reports
DOE publishes annual illness and injury surveillance reports for each site, dating back to the beginning of the program.
