COMMERCE SECRETARY DON EVANS IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT EX-IM BANK 2002 ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON MAY 3 IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Don Evans will be the keynote luncheon speaker at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) Annual Conference Friday, May 3, 2002, in Washington, D.C.

Where: Regency Ballroom, Omni Shoreham Hotel
2500 Calvert St., N.W., Washington, D.C.

When: 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 3. Luncheon speaker.

Ex-Im Bank is the official export credit agency of the United States and provides loans, guarantees and export credit insurance in support of U.S. companies seeking to expand into the global marketplace. In fiscal year 2001, Ex-Im Bank authorized financing to support $12.5 billion of U.S. exports worldwide.
