Additionally, ORISE assists DOE in ensuring a safe and reliable workforce by managing one of the department's Centers of Excellence, the Center for Human Reliability Studies.

ORISE has an interdisciplinary team of operations planners, experienced technical staff, and emergency management as well as personnel security experts. All work in the following areas to provide DOE and other federal and state agencies with services that strengthen our country’s preparedness to respond to any type of disaster, whether natural or man-made.

Exercise Planning & Development
To prepare federal and state organizations to effectively respond to a variety of emergency types, ORISE provides full-function exercises, drills, and tabletops. We develop all elements of the exercise package as well as manage, control, and evaluate the exercise.

Policy Planning & Development
Because of our expertise in responding to national emergency incidents of all kinds, ORISE is called upon by federal and state agencies to assist in developing policies, procedures, response plans, and guidelines.

Technology Solutions
ORISE capitalizes on the benefits of technology to custom-design solutions that help our clients ensure their preparedness.

Additional Readiness Support
Through sophisticated tracking systems, training, outreach activities, and networking/information sharing, ORISE helps to ensure that the response capabilities of DOE and other agencies are maintained.

Subject Matter Expertise Support
