ORISE Cookbook Project Benefits YWCA
OAK RIDGE , Tenn. —The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education recently authored, published and distributed Cooking for a Cause, a cookbook created as a community initiative with all proceeds going directly to the YWCA of Oak Ridge. Total amount raised is currently more than $2,500 to assist with YWCA outreach programs.
The cookbook includes more than 200 pages and 418 recipes submitted by ORISE employees. A limited number of cookbooks are still available and can be purchased by calling the YWCA at (865) 482-9922.

ORISE is a U.S. Department of Energy institute focusing on scientific initiatives to research health risks from occupational hazards, assess environmental cleanup, respond to radiation medical emergencies, support national security and emergency preparedness and educate the next generation of scientists. ORISE is managed by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU).
