- No per diem rate change requests will be approved until the GPD provider has submitted the SF 269 for every fiscal year since inception or FY 2004, whichever is sooner.

- The current maximum per diem rate is $33.01.

Those programs that did not previously need to meet the NFPA Life Safety Codes, will have to comply with these codes by December 21, 2006. Most programs already meet these codes, however, there were a few that were "grandfathered" in because of the change in the regulations. Those programs that were "grandfathered" in the past, will need to comply with these new codes. Call your VA GPD Liaison if you have any questions.
