The many successes of Fermilab's K-12 education programs depend on the talents of the over 200 volunteers who help out each year. It is these people whom we want to honor with a new

DIRECTOR'S AWARD

An annual award of $1,000, made possible by an anonymous donor, recognizes one volunteer a year whose contributions are outstanding, even among the many volunteer supporters of Fermilab's K-12 education programs.

The 2006 award was presented to Curt Danner at the Volunteers Reception on November 30th for his mportant work on the Leon Lederman Center exhibits.

Congratulations to the 2006 nominees: Ronald Miksa, Suzanne Weber, Jerry Zimmerman, Muzaffer Atac and Donald Lincoln.
