GOV. RITTER ORDERS FLAGS LOWERED MONDAY
By the authority vested in the Governor of the State of Colorado, under Article IV, Section 2 of the Colorado Constitution, and pursuant to H.R. 692, Gov. Bill Ritter has ordered that flags be lowered to half-staff on state and federal buildings across Colorado on Monday, May 19, 2008, in observance of the funeral service for Army Sgt. Isaac Palomarez, 26, of Loveland.
Sgt. Palomarez died Friday, May 9, in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Sgt. Palomarez's funeral will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Loveland.
