The first step toward requesting assistance through the Citizens' Advocate Office is to determine whether your concern, problem or complaint is within the jurisdiction of state government. The Governor's Office has jurisdiction over issues that involve state agencies. However, if your complaint is a local government, federal government, or judicial issue it cannot be resolved through the Governor's Office.
