The linear patterns in the clouds over the Pacific suggest contrail origins. Subtle variations in cloud density reveal vortex street downwind (southeast) of Mexico's Guadalupe Island. The Great Salt Lake in Utah is divided into two very different colored bodies of water by a railroad causeway. The southern Gulf of California continues to bloom brightly.
