Stories of Katrina: The Long Road Back
VA's Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs and VA's Employee Education System is producing a series of videos to mark the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s visit to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans on August 29, 2005. VA employees who survived the storm and returned to New Orleans to rebuild their lives and restore VA’s presence in southeast Louisiana tell their stories in their own words. Please bookmark this page so you can check out all five videos - we are adding them as we complete them.
This and additional images of Hurricane Katrina are available from the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
