The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNS) intends to issue a sole source award to FreeBalance, Inc., 1101 Prince of Wales Drive, Suite 210, Ottawa, ON K2C 3W7, CANADA for the purchase of the upgrade to the proprietary Salary Management System and related support and maintenance. This upgrade is for the support of the software system originally purchased under the expired Influatec GSA Schedule contract GS-35F-0590P before it was acquired by FreeBalance. This acquisition also purchases required enhancements to FreeBalance’s system in support of the payroll file converter, social security tax calculation and bi-weekly reporting. This system supports a critical function of the budget office for payroll forecasting, as well as assists in the compliance to internal controls.
