NWS presented a 100 Year Institional Length of Service Award
to the Kassler Center of the Denver Water District. Accepting the award
was Terri Doolittle and Robert Rogers. Bill Ray, Hydrometeorological
Technician (HMT), NWS Boulder, CO, presented the award.
Kimo Texiera, center, of Kauai Coffee, Inc., accepted a 100 Year Institutional Length of Service from Ronald Yankes, left, of NWS Lihue, HI, and Richard Gazda, Lihue Coop Focal Point. Kimo has been taking observations at Kukuiula and six other sites for more than 33 years.
Jerry Altman, center, observer at Fargo, GA was presented a 75 Year Institional Length of Service Award for International Paper's commitment to the NWS observation program. Army Corp of Engineer staff members at Lock and Dams #4 and #5, Natrona, PA, and Schenley, PA, received their 75 Year Institutional Length of Service Awards. The ceremony was held jointly at the Sharpsburg, PA, Lock and Dam. Theresa Rossi, Meteorologist in Charge, at WFO Pittsburgh, PA is in the middle presenting the award.
