dbGAP: NHLBI DNA Resequencing and Genotyping Program

Program Description

The Database of Genotype and Phenotype (dbGAP) database was developed to archive and distribute the results of studies that have investigated the interaction of genotype and phenotype. Such studies include genome-wide association studies, medical sequencing, molecular diagnostic assays, as well as association between genotype and non-clinical traits. Data from the NHLBI SHARe, CARE, and STAMPEED programs will be available through dbGAP. NHLBI has the expectation that all GWAS studies supported by NHLBI will be deposited in dbGAP.
