Application for a commercial or industrial bank is required, with a fee of $15,000.
Banking Board must hold hearing for commercial and industrial banks. Hearing must demonstrate the need for and profitability of bank in chosen location. Additional data, financial statements and other pertinent information may be required by the Banking Board. Burden of proof lies with the applicant.
Capital requirement as determined by the Board (at a minimum, 6% of adjusted total assets, generally a higher percentage is required.)
Automated Teller Machine (ATM) surcharges must be disclosed.
