The program also provides the certification required by other states for the exportation of nursery stock. Registration fee: $80/yr. All registrations expire December 31. (35-10-101 through 128, C.R.S.) License fee: $350/yr. The Department and local governing bodies may enforce noxious weed management plans, including restriction of use of such species as ornamentals. Local
Local Licensing Authorities	Local licensing authorities often require a license for tree service businesses (planting, cutting, trimming, pruning, or removing trees). Check with the local water supply agency regardiing any restrictions or permits for planting new sod or other landscaping. Local codes require sprinkler system installations have approved backflow prevention devices.

NOTE:  Except as noted above, there is no state licensing requirements for landscaping service including cutting grass, trimming trees or lawn aeration. A plumber's license not necessary for sprinkler system installation.
