All dry cleaners should contact the Small Business Clean Air Technical Assistance Program to determine their APEN requirements.

$119.96 filing fee, $59.98/hr evaluation fee, plus annual fee based on emissions.
Requires final approval and ongoing inspections.

The dry cleaning process may generate waste chemicals that require proper disposal and storage.
All generators of hazardous waste must have an "identification number" from EPA.

The EPA program is administered through the Colorado Department of Health. The division can provide generators with the regulations.

All product sales are subject to sales tax. Contact the Department of Revenue regarding sales tax licensing regardless of whether a business sells retail, wholesale, on consignment or at events.
