I am trying to calculate trajectories using my own MM5 output files. I compiled the mm5toarl routine
and created the arl formatted files compatible with HYSPLIT, but it still doesn't work. I used the chk_file
program and there is an error with the header. Should I change something in the mm5toarl routine?
You need to make sure that your compilation included switches to insure that file record lengths were set
in bytes, and that binary files are treated as either little-endian or big-endian, as appropriate to the
platform on which you ran MM5.
