Carol Colleran is director of the Center for Recovery for Older Adults at the Hanley-Hazelden Center in West Palm Beach, FL. As a certified alcohol and drug
counselor specializing in older adults, she is considered a pioneer in the
treatment of this population. Ms. Colleran also is a participant in policy development and studies for several national organizations, including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Council on the Aging, the Center of Alcohol and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, and the Millennium Assembly Task Force of the United Nations, in addition to being an author and a frequent guest on national television and radio programs.
