Date: April 30, 2003I will describe, in very general terms, three research responses to concerns about environmental cancer on Cape Cod, MA: (1) new techniques for mapping cancer hot spots after adjusting for co-variates; (2) a possible way of dealing with neighborhood sized samples; and (3) lattice-based methods for looking at data of all kinds. This covers a lot of ground so it will be "a view from horseback." We will not dismount to examine the terrain in detail. |
