FIRST LADY JEANNIE RITTER TO DISCUSS COMMUNITY CONCERNS IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO JULY 2-3
Visit includes Prowers, Baca, Bent, & Otero Counties
Colorado First Lady Jeannie Ritter is scheduled to visit southeast Colorado next week to meet with community groups and local residents as part of her ongoing effort to address the state's mental health care needs as well as other issues. Her visit will include stops in Springfield, Lamar, Las Animas and La Junta.
"One of the reasons I chose to focus on mental health care is because it touches so many people in every part of the state," the First Lady said. "The people of southeast Colorado have experienced more than their fair share of challenges in recent months, from the winter blizzards to the March tornado in Holly. I look forward to visiting these communities, seeing their strengths, learning lessons that can be shared across Colorado, and hearing their concerns."
