How can I calculate my own retirement benefit estimates?
  Question
How can I calculate my own retirement benefit estimates?
  Answer

You can go to our Benefits Calculators and use the earnings shown on your Statement to calculate other estimates yourself. When you add in your expected future earnings, be sure to include only earnings that are covered by Social Security. Do not include earnings from a federal, state or local government agency that are not covered by Social Security or income from pensions or interest and dividends from savings and investments.

If you are ready to file for benefits, you can apply for Social Security retirement benefits, spouse's benefits or disability benefits online.
