Local Hospitals

The Capitol Area includes many nationally recognized hospitals and health systems, some of which are listed below. (Reference to specific hospitals is for the information and convenience of the public and does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or favoring by the Coast Guard.)

Virginia

The Fairfax/Alexandria/Arlington area includes one major hospital system: Inova Health System. It includes Alexandria Hospital, Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax Hospital (and Fairfax Hospital for Children), Loudoun Healthcare, and Mount Vernon Hospital. Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge is an affiliate of Inova.

Other Northern Virginia hospitals include:

• Prince William Health System (Prince William County, including Manassas)
