This article contains information that has finally answered my long standing puzzle regarding my breathing problem during some of my night sleep. I now understand why my wife would sometimes wake me up in the middle of the night just to tell me that my breathing was irregular, actually stopping for a long time after loud inconsistent snoring, and suddenly jerking out of sleep or sometimes she would wake me up with fear in her face. She suspected beer to be the cause but I ignored it until after reading this article. Three signs fit my condition: loss of memory (complete loss after drinking beer), feeling irritable and mood swings.
The suggested apnea diagnosis and treatment methods should be helpful. My only worry is that the CPAC gudgets don't look comfortable. I must see a physician. Thank you for your article.
