Latino Community Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Outreach Initiative: Background Report

This background paper provides an overview of what is known about CVD and its associated risk factors among Latinos in the United States. It also shares some of the knowledge gained by community projects across the Nation about conducting programs designed to reduce illness and death from CVD among Latinos.

Certified health education specialists (CHES) may receive 3 credit hours in category 1 by reading the Guide and completing a quiz.
