Federal Employees Awards Program
The Civilian Awards Program is designed to reward significant
contributions made by individual employee and groups of employees to the
Coast Guard. Awards are a powerful management tool used to motivate people
to be more productive by recognizing creativity in the workplace, commitment
to customer service, cost savings and personal contributions. For more
detailed information, employees should refer to
COMDTINST M12451.2A, Coast Guard Civilian Awards Manual and their
servicing HR Specialist or Command Staff Advisor. Bargaining unit employees should
refer to any applicable provisions of their collective bargaining agreement
(if one exists.)
