The report is an analysis of the data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2002 Survey of Business Owners’ Characteristics of Businesses and Characteristics of Business Owners.  Findings of the report raise the importance of using adequate kinds of capital to start, acquire, expand or finance the expansion of the business. The report also studies the business structure of the business, customer base, and the owner's education and age.
