Electronic Funds Transfer
There are four different program guides that deal with Oregon´s Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program. Each of these guides contain the forms and instructions you need to sign up and make EFT payments for a specific method and tax type. Please read the following statements describing each program guide.
 
Combined Payroll Taxes
 
Two program guides cover making EFT payments for combined payroll taxes, one for each method (ACH debit and ACH credit). Five tax types are included in this category. They include state withholding tax, state unemployment tax, workers´ benefit fund assessment (also known as workers´ comp.), TriMet transit district excise tax, and Lane County transit district excise tax. This is a free service provided by the state. These EFT payments are initiated by using either a touch-tone phone or going through our secure Internet site.

This EFT payment method is coordinated through your financial institution, which pushes funds to the department. Your financial institution may charge various fees for this service.
Estimated Corporation Taxes
 
Two program guides cover making EFT payments for estimated corporation taxes, one for each method (ACH debit and ACH credit). Two tax types are included in this category. They include state corporation excise tax and state corporation income tax. Go to Corporation Taxes for additional information about these taxes.
