Over 1.4 million veterans were served by the workforce system in the four quarters ending December 31, 2007. The highest number was 1,267,300 in the Wagner-Peyser program, and the next highest was 154,815 in the Workforce Investment Act Adult program. The Workforce Investment Act Dislocated Worker program served 32,625 veterans during this period, and the Registered Apprenticeship program served 11,660. The Senior Community Service Employment Program served 11,586 veterans, while the Trade Adjustment Assistance program served 2,403. The Community-Based Job Training Grants program served 897 veterans, and the Prisoner Reentry Initiative program served 838. The National Farmworker Jobs program served 247 veterans in the four quarters ending December 31, 2007, while the Workforce Investment Act Youth program served 241, and the Indian and Native American Adult program served 139.
