Produced by respected local music promoter Dave Littrell and the House of Blues, the US Bank Concerts at Marymoor summer series offers a compelling veteran lineup in its second season. The concert series earlier this year announced the addition of its new corporate sponsor - US Bank.

The collection of stars in the 2004 summer concert series (see attached list for the entire 2004 lineup) fortifies the reputation of King County's scenic Marymoor Park as an outstanding addition to the Puget Sound outdoor music scene.

"Once again, we are thrilled to provide a venue at one of our most beautiful regional parks," said King County Executive Ron Sims. "This concert series is huge success and a perfect example of what King County expects to accomplish through Parks' dynamic business plan - revenue-producing amenities that complement our parks."

Sims noted that the concerts significantly reduced King County Parks' dependence on general taxes in 2003, generating nearly $260,000 to support parks.

Located on the great lawn next to the historic Clise Mansion, the state-of-the-art Marymoor Park venue treats music lovers to outstanding staging, production and acoustics in a gorgeous and intimate park setting. The picturesque venue has space for 600 reserved seats and 4,400 general admission lawn tickets, many of them elevated on an earthen berm. See our Pictures and Reviews Web page for more information about the Marymoor Park outdoor concert venue, or click on the US Bank Concerts at Marymoor Web site for details about the series.

King County's Marymoor Park is located in Redmond, Washington, near the Microsoft Corporate campus. The park's 640 acres border the 520 Freeway on the north, Lake Sammamish Parkway on the west, and the waters of Lake Sammamish on the south. Plenty of parking and a spacious food court with gourmet entrees and Northwest beverages are just a few features making Marymoor Park among the most appealing music venues in the Puget Sound.

When the Marymoor Park venue isn't featuring the top names in music this summer, King County Parks will make the beautiful facility available for rent and for fundraising activities for non-profit groups that support parks. For details, contact King County Parks and Recreation at 206-205-3661.
