Over 600,000 Asian Pacific Americans were served by the workforce system in the four quarters ending December 31, 2007. The highest number was 329,537 in the Wagner-Peyser program, the next highest was 253,720 in the Unemployment Insurance program. Next in magnitude was the Workforce Investment Act Adult program, which served 50,952, and the Workforce Investment Act Dislocated Worker program served 11,652 during this period. The Workforce Investment Act Youth program served 6,509 Asian Pacific Americans, and the Registered Apprenticeship program served 4,599. The Senior Community Service Employment Program served 3,241 Asian Pacific Americans and the Trade Adjustment Assistance program served 1,050 during the four quarters ending December 31, 2007. There were 733 Asian Pacific Americans served by the Community-Based Job Training Grants program, while the Youth Offender Demonstration project served 99. Ninety-eight Asian Pacific Americans were served by the Prisoner Reentry Initiative, while the National Farmworker Jobs program
served 76.
