The Division of Environmental Health Services (DEHS) is part of the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering , in the Indian Health Service, (Both links will open a new window) Office of Public Health. We are the Sanitarians, Environmental Health Specialists, Environmental Health Technicians, Health Care Safety Officers, Institutional Environmental Health Officers, and Injury Prevention Specialists. We provide environmental health consultation to American Indian and Alaskan Native tribal governments and Indian Health Service programs. The "Contact Us" portion of this site provides contact information for DEHS Directors in the staff in the IHS Area Office's; it also has a link to help locate the 250 DEHS staff members throughout IHS.
