GSA uses private sector commercial real estate brokers as a tool to provide consistent, high-quality services nationwide to federal agencies that rely on GSA for lease acquisition. On October 4, 2004, GSA awarded a limited number of broker service contracts under one national contract. Contractors received Notice to Proceed on April 1, 2005.  The national contract included 4 option years and is currently in option year 2.  

The award went to the following companies:

• Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.
• Julien J. Studley, Inc. (currently Studley, Inc.)
• The Staubach Company - Northeast Inc.
• Trammell Crow Company (currently CB Richard Ellis Real Estate Services, Inc.)
