King County Developmental Disabilities Division (County DDD) housing staff work in partnership with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (State DDD) to refer people to affordable housing and to prevent people from becoming homeless.
County DDD also provides capital funding for the development of new affordable housing for persons with developmental disabilities through the Housing Innovations for Persons with Developmental Disabilities Program (HIPDD). County DDD collaborates with the King County Housing Finance Program to administer this funding program and with State DDD to refer clients to the newly created housing.
