Hi everyone.

Any ideas about what to use for an initial placement
instrument since we can no longer use the BEST for
ESOL placement? Right now our counselors are placing
students in classes based on a short conversation and
some sample writing; however, this doesn't seem to be
working -- students are being placed in classes that
are too low for them.

What do other learning centers use? Thanks.
