About AFSIC

As part of a public library, our staff members provide library services to U.S. and international customers. We answer specific questions, provide brief literature searches (using databases that may not be available on the Internet or to the general public), make referrals to appropriate resources and experts, and share subject and technical expertise with other organizations that serve the sustainable agriculture community. We also publish topical bibliographies, subject guides and databases. Most AFSIC services are provided free upon request. See Contact above.

Library services and information products concerning topics not covered by AFSIC may be available from other NAL Information Centers or NAL Reference Services.

National Agricultural Library information regarding Customer Service; Collection Development Policy of NAL; How to Request Library Materials; and User Fee Policies affecting extensive research assistance may be found at the NAL Policy and Guidelines page.
