Summer 2008 Road Projects
Summer 2008 Road Projects Map
2008 construction map cover

With 114 projects listed on the map, Oregon is experiencing one of the busiest construction seasons in recent years. The increased activity is fueled in part by the Oregon Transportation Investment Acts, a series of funding packages that raised $2.96 billion for highway and bridge construction work.

Projects on the map are listed by highway type and route number. Information is subject to change.

Please use caution when driving through work zones. You may encounter traffic restrictions, lane closures, detours and delays. Watch for signs, flaggers and pilot cars. Please drive carefully.

Statewide Projects
Oregon remains open for business while ODOT modernizes the state’s most critical transportation corridors by repairing bridges, widening lanes and maintaining roadways.

The amount of construction is the largest in 50 years. The magnitude of construction will cause some delays, but ODOT is using innovative traffic management to minimize impacts. Whenever possible, closures will take place at night or during low traffic hours, but be prepared at all times for occasional delays.

Keeping people, goods and services moving efficiently and safely is a top priority. For up-to-date information about construction work, road incidents and travel delays, visit TripCheck at www.tripcheck.com or call 511.

Copies of the Summer 2008 Road Projects Map are available at several locations around the state.
