Faster and easier processing of Medicaid claims for Oregonians
Photo of elderly couple Replacing the state's outdated Medicaid Management Information System
Oregon's Medicaid claims system is 30 years old and can no longer effectively handle the needs of patients and providers. Consequently, the State Legislature has directed DHS to replace it. The federal government will subsidize approximately 90 percent of the cost for this.

The MMIS Replacement Project is well underway. The new system will mean changes in the way claims are submitted and providers are paid -- all to make things faster and easier for everyone. The Replacement Team is dedicated to making the transition as easy as possible for all Oregonians. Please check back on this page for the latest news and updates.
