Employment services 

Adults, seniors and people with disabilities

  • Vocational Rehabilitation - Oregon's Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (OVRS) assists Oregonians with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and independence.
  • Jobs program - JOBS for Oregon's Future (JOBS) is the state's employment and training program for people on public assistance. In addition, JOBS can help low-income families avoid the need for welfare.
  • Ticket to Work program - The Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program is an employment program for people with disabilities who are interested in going to work.
  • Senior Community Service Employment Program  - Serves persons with low incomes who are 55 years old or older.
  • Oregon Employment Initiative - helps consumers with disabilities become gainfully employed while maintaining their independent living support benefits.
  • Supported Employment For Persons with Developmental Disabilities - provides information and tools designed to help an individual with developmental disabilities choose, get, learn, and keep a job and career.

Teens

  • Independent Living Programs (ILP)  - The DHS child welfare Independent Living Program (ILP) is designed to assist youths who are or were in foster care to become independent adults. Youth served must be age 14 or older.
