Shipping and Handling Fees
Shipping and handling fees are added to the total value for most orders * according to the following schedule:
Shipping & Handling charges are based on the Value of Order. (Value of Order includes the total price of the items. Value of Order does NOT include RUSH service and Certification service.)*
* NTIS' shipping and handling fee does not apply to subscriptions or documents downloaded directly from our Web site. All U.S. orders are shipped either by express delivery or first-class mail, depending on destination and shipping weight. Orders outside the U.S. are shipped via air mail to a delivery point within your country and then sent by surface mail to your address.
*SRIM and S&T customers outside North America are charged a different S&H fee. Value of order: $0-$100 Fee: $10; Value of order: $101+ Fee: 10%
Customers outside the United States may find it more convenient to order from one of NTIS' International Cooperating Organizations.
Rush Service (Telephone orders only - not available for online ordering)
To place your order or for more information, call 1-800-553-6847 or (703) 605-6000, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
NTIS also offers its customers a Rush Service option. Using RUSH service, orders are processed by NTIS within one business day, and then shipped by overnight courier to addresses within the U.S. or by air mail to addresses outside of the U.S. This service is available for an additional fee.
Invoicing Fee(U.S., Canada, and Mexico only):
NTIS will gladly bill your order, for an additional fee of $15.00. A request to be invoiced must be on a purchase order or company letterhead. An authorizing signature, contact name, and telephone number should be included with this request. Requests may be mailed or faxed.
Certification Service (Telephone orders only - not available for online ordering)
CERTIFICATION service is available for an additional $130 fee per copy. This service includes RUSH delivery and guarantees that you are receiving the official publication. To place a CERTIFICATION order, contact NTIS at 1-800-553-NTIS (6847).
