Oregon’s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) - Replacement Project
The Department of Human Services (DHS) will be implementing a new Oregon Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), on June 30, 2008. Toward this goal, AMH will work with providers and other stakeholders to develop strategies to transition the AMH provider community.
In the months preceding implementation, you will receive “MMIS Insider” bulletins which will provide you with information on training, provider enrollment, accessing and utilizing the provider Web portal, and much more. This information will assist you and your staff in the transition to the new MMIS payment system.
To ensure that AMH business needs are included in the replacement MMIS, two staff have been assigned to this project full time:
