Biosketch:
Denise Haynie, Ph.D., M.P.H., is staff scientist in the Prevention Research Branch and has been with the branch since 1993. She earned her doctorate from the Catholic University of America and her M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her primary research interests are early adolescent problem behavior prevention and positive youth development. Her current research is focused on the development and evaluation of school based interventions to enhance school engagement and reduce problem behavior among adolescents.
