The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of Contracts Management (DCM) will award a contract to assist AHRQ in developing criteria for assessing the evidence base for the context-sensitive effectiveness and safety of patient safety practices.

The Government anticipates awarding one (1) contract from this solicitation with the contract estimated to have a maximum budget of $1 Million. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type of contract is contemplated for a 12 month period of performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that best describes the requirement is 541611. This procurement is advertised on a full and open competition basis.

Questions regarding this solicitation shall be received in this office no later than August 29, 2008. The subject line should be marked "Proposal Questions RFP No. AHRQ-09-10001."
