This DVD* for PACE program leaders covers communication and patient education techniques for physicians to foster good asthma control skills in pediatric patients and their families. It is formatted for ease of use during PACE seminars and complements other elements of the PACE program for physicians.
Contains four sets of vignettes demonstrating physician-patient interactions in an office practice responding to different asthma learning needs.
The DVD does not contain the leader training videos, Power Point slides, speaker’s notes, and participant handouts that are only available on the PACE Web site. These cover other aspects of the PACE program, including classification, monitoring, and stepwise treatment plans for asthma and case presentations.
