4 homes were destroyed in Goodwater and two people were killed. Two others died in the Oak Bowery community.
1875 5 1 1000 Coosa-Tallapoosa-Chambers**(continued into Troup & Meriwether Cos, Ga) F3 80.0 15 50 West Point
At least 5 people were killed in Alabama as 20 plantations sustained significant damage.
1875 3 20 1330 Lee-Chambers**(continued into Harris Co, Ga) F4 20.0 7 20 Opelika-6 S West Point
Seven members of one family were killed. Reports indicate a multiple vortex tornado.
1875 2 24 1830 Pickens-Lamar F3 NA 3 15 W Pickens Co
Several homes were totally destroyed and four plantations were destroyed. Three deaths were in one family.
